1. Website Usage


1.1. You must be 18 years or older and have a valid credit/debit card, with full authority to use it, to submit an order through this Site. You agree not to use this Site or any content contained in it for any illegal or inappropriate activities.


2. Website Content

2.1 You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within this website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may only download such material and content for the purpose of using this website. You further acknowledge that any other use of the material and content of this website is strictly prohibited and you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

2.2 Images are for illustration purposes only, product may vary.

2.3 Typographical Errors
Pet Supplies Devon has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pet Supplies Devon disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. Pet Supplies Devon shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

In the event a product being listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.

3. Price Promise

3.1 We guarantee to beat any price you find elsewhere on the internet!

3.2 Not only does Pet Supplies Devon offer our customers an outstanding service but we also offer you unbeatable low prices. However, if you do find a like-for-like item cheaper (including the delivery charges) elsewhere we will refund you the difference.

This guarantee is applicable only when the item is available to purchase immediately at another online store (Excluding Ebay and Amazon), either before you purchase, or within 7 days of your purchase from Pet Supplies Devon. Our price promise excludes discount coupons provided by Pet Supplies Devon, which can not be used on price match items.

4. Payment

4.1 Once you've decided what you want to buy, you can pay through the secure Protx payment server which accepts all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Eurocard, American Express, Maestro and Solo.

4.2 Coupons
If you would like to redeem a coupon which you may have received then please enter it in lowercase on the checkout page without spaces.

If you do have any trouble using your coupon online please call us on 01363 818054 for assistance prior to placing your order.

Coupons can only be used in conjunction with our terms and conditions below.

    * Coupons may not be used with any other vouchers or promotional offers.
    * Coupons are redeemed at the discretion of the management.
    * Your coupons may be subject to their own terms and conditions in addition to these which you will be advised of at the time of receipt of the coupon.
    * Minimum spend may apply.
    * You can only use one coupon per order.
    * Coupons can not be used against delivery charges..
    * Coupons can not be used with any other promotional codes or loyalty discounts.
    * Coupons can only be used on orders placed online and over the phone, prior to you placing your order. We are unable to accept coupons for any reason once your order has been placed.
    * Coupons have no cash value.

4.3 Manufacturer Coupons
If you would like to redeem a voucher you may have for the product you are buying then please send it to us at our address below, please enclose your order number on any correspondence to us. We will then refund the voucher if valid back to the card used when placing your order. For your own protection please ensure that you meet the criteria of the terms and conditions of the promotion by reading the voucher carefully before sending it to us.

4.5 Vouchers: From time to time we may issue you with a voucher. These can be used on any order and no minimum spend limits will apply. You redeem your credit note by following the instructions given with the voucher.

Should you return vouchers that are invalid you will be informed via email. Management decision is final.

5. Delivery

Please ensure you have checked the Shipping & Returns section for information on delivery prices.

5.1 - Domestic Deliveries (UK mainland and islands)
If you are out when we try to attempt your delivery we will leave you a card notifying you of our attempt and giving you information on how to arrange a re-delivery of your order. Your parcel will be held in the depot for up to 7 days whilst you arrange delivery.  Delivery hours are between 7am and 6pm unless you specify a timed service which Pet Supplies Devon has agreed to.

5.2: International Deliveries
PLEASE NOTE - Orders sent via regular airmail are not INSURED and you therefore accept full responsibility should your order not arrive. For an insured delivery please contact us prior to ordering.  You will also be liable for any local duty's that may be levied when the goods enter your country if outside of the EU.

5.3: All Deliveries
Deliveries made by our courier are at a discounted rate and should you wish for us to re-send your parcel it will be done at the true cost to us.

In the unlikely event that your order should fail to arrive within our promised delivery period please email us at sales@petsuppliesdevon.co.uk along with your order number and we will carry out a thorough investigation and endeavour to get your package delivered to you.

Working days are Monday to Friday only we do not deliver or process orders on weekends or on bank holidays.

Responsibility cannot be taken for the wrong order, or non-delivery, resulting from incorrect information or addresses being provided. You may be responsible for the cost of delivery and the return of the goods in these circumstances.

No Party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity [or telephone service], and no other Party will have a right to terminate this Agreement in such circumstances.

6. Where is my order?

6.1 In the unlikely event that your order should fail to arrive within our promised delivery period please email us at sales@petsuppliesdevon.co.uk along with your order number and we will carry out a thorough investigation with our courier and endeavour to get your package delivered to you.  Should you wish to cancel your order and it has been dispatched by us you will be liable for any cost incurred by us for the goods being returned back by our courier as well as the original charge for sending the goods. 

6.2 If your order has failed to arrive within 14 working days from the date of our promised delivery period your order it is deemed by us as lost. Should you fail to report to us that your parcel has not arrived within this time and we have a signature of delivery from our courier we will be unable to claim for loss of the item from our courier and therefore unable to replace or refund your goods. Should you refuse to sign for your package within this 14 day period you will be liable for any cost incurred by us for the goods being returned back.

In the very unlikely event that your order is "lost in the post", please contact us and we will, in conjunction with the carrier to undertake a thorough investigation as to how and why the item has been lost. Once we are able to establish that the item is definitely lost we will redeliver the goods.  Failure to co-operate with us or our courier during this investigation could jeopardise your claim for loss. Should your missing order arrive and you fail to inform us within 7 days of delivery to you then you will be liable for the cost of both the original and replacement order.

6.3 We cannot be held liable for any loss including consequential loss if a product does not arrive on time.

7. Returns

Here at Pet Supplies Devon we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items, so below is our returns policy.  We have split our returns policy up to make it transparent as to how your order will be handled should you not be 100% satisfied with your purchase.

7.1 If upon receiving your item, you are dissatisfied for any reason whatsoever, please return your order in it's original condition and we will reimburse you for the value of the item.  Please ensure that the item is returned back to us in it's original condition unless faulty within 14 days of the date the item is delivered to you. Please be aware that you are unable to cancel your contract for services carried out for example postage and packing.

Return Address ; To return an item, please enclose a note giving the reason for the return along with your order number, wrap the package securely and send the package to the address below.

For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service when returning your item back to us as we are not liable for any loss or damage whilst in transit.

Should any item be returned back to us in a condition which we deem has been used we will be unable to accept your request to cancel unless the item is faulty. Please ensure that the item is returned back to us in an unused condition.

7.2 You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing, labour etc.) unless the goods concerned are faulty, damaged or not the item ordered.

7.3 We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of food items, perishable goods or veterinary medicines unless they arrive damaged, faulty or not the item ordered once they have been signed for in case they have been tampered with.

7.4 This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. Any refunds will be made within 14 days from notification to us and in accordance to our terms and conditions. You are entitled to cancel any payment at any time where fraudulent use has been made of your credit or debit card by another person not acting on behalf of you or as your agent and to be re-credited by us to the extent that such sums are not reimbursed by the card issuer in such circumstances.

7.5 Unless faulty or an incorrect item (see section 9) you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item.

8. Missing Items

8.1 From time to time items may have been excluded from your delivery as we have either had to follow the item on at a later date or refund you for the value of the item due to a stock problem. We will notify you of this on your delivery invoice.

8.2 Should an item be missing from your order and no information is present please send an email to sales@petsuppliesdevon.co.uk so we can start the process of rectifying your error. Once we have investigated the cause behind the problem, we will then arrange for the item to be sent to you as soon as possible or you will have the option to be refunded for the value of the missing item. The customer must notify us of any missing items within 7 days of receiving the order for any action to be taken.

9. Damaged Goods and  Incorrect Items

9.1 If any item(s) of your order are damaged or not the item ordered, customers are to inform Pet Supplies Devon Customer Services within 24hrs via phone or email, 01363 818054 or sales@petsuppliesdevon.co.uk and the packaging must be retained until further notice. If a customer accepts a damaged parcel knowingly the damage must be specified on the courier drivers signature terminal.

9.2 Before we can replace or refund an item we will ask for the item to be returned back to us by the cheapest means possible. We may request that you return the item back to us by recorded delivery in the post or we may arrange for the item to be collected by our carrier, the item(s) must be packed as received to avoid any possible damage. Should we request you to return the item back to us, please enclose within the package a copy of the receipt given by the post office and we will reimburse you for this charge.

9.3 You will not be responsible for the cost of the return of the item or the cost of replacing the goods. However we will be unable to accept the return of any items not damaged or incorrect within the same package. Should you wish to return these back to us you must arrange for them to be returned as per our terms and conditions below.

10. Exchange a product

10.1 If upon receiving your order, you are dissatisfied for any reason, excluding damaged and incorrect items (see section 9) customers are to inform Pet Supplies Devon Customer Services within 7 days of receipt via phone or email, 01363 818054 or sales@petsuppliesdevon.co.uk to arrange a return of your order.  

10.2 To exchange a product, it must be in its original condition.

10.3 Your card will be charged/refunded any difference in cost.  You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item and our postage and packing charge of £4.99 of your replacement.

10.4 Items can not be exchange without contacting us beforehand.

12. Cancelling an order

12.1 To cancel an order please contact Pet Supplies Devon Customer Services via phone or email, 01363 818054 or sales@petsuppliesdevon.co.uk to arrange cancellation.  Should you wish to cancel an order before we have dispatched it, you will receive a full refund of any monies paid.  

12.2 Should you wish for us to collect the goods Pet Supplies Devon reserves the right to charge an uplift fee to cover the cost of employing a courier company to collect the item from the customer which is currently £10 per parcel.

12.3 Deliveries made by our courier are at a discounted rate and should we wish for us to re-send your parcel it will be done at the true cost to us.

12.4 You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item.

13. Product Faults

Should you believe that your product has developed a fault we have the following terms in place to keep our process easy to follow.

13.1 We will be unable to repair/replace/refund any product until we have had the opportunity to inspect them to firstly validate the fault exists and then decide on the best course of action;

13.2 If you have had the product for less than 30 days:
Should your item develop an inherent fault within 30 days then please contact our customer service team on 01363 818054 and we will arrange for a repair or replacement to be carried out at no cost to you. You will only be entitled to a full refund if you return the product within 30 days from the date your goods were delivered.

Before we can replace, repair or refund an item we will ask for the item to be returned back to us by the cheapest means possible. We may request that you return the item back to us by recorded delivery in the post or we may arrange for the item to be collected by our carrier, the item(s) must be packed as received to avoid any possible damage. Should we request you to return the item back to us, please enclose within the package a copy of the receipt given by the post office and we will reimburse you for this charge.

You will not be responsible for the cost of the return of the item or the cost of replacing the goods. However we will be unable to accept the return of any items not faulty within the same package. Should you wish to return these back to us you must arrange for them to be returned as per our terms and conditions above.

13.3 If you have had the product longer than 30 days:
If you have had the product for more than 30 days you will be liable for the cost of returning the product back for inspection. Should the item be shown to not have any fault we will charge our costs for the postage and packing of your goods back to you.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item however we will send the replacement or repaired or replacement item back to you free of charge.

13.4
If you have had the product longer than 6 months: 
Should your item develop an inherent fault after 6 months and it does not come with a manufacturer warranty then it is for you the consumer to prove that the fault exhibited itself within the first 6 months. We can not provide redress where the goods have been accidentally damaged, misused or where you have tried your own repair. For details of any guarantee that may be provided by the manufacturer in addition to your statutory legal rights please contact our customer service team on 01363 818054. Some products come with a one or two year guarantee whilst others have no free guarantee other than those which you are legally entitled to under the sale of goods act. Goods cannot always be expected to work fault free. They can break down through normal use. Consumers cannot, therefore, expect to hold us responsible for fair wear and tear. There needs to be a fault that was present on the day of sale even though it only became apparent later on.

You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item however we will send the replacement or repaired or replacement item back to you free of charge

13.5 On rare occasions where a replacement or repair may not be in your best interests we may agree to offering you an alternative product of equal value or a credit voucher for the value of the goods, at the discretion of the management.

14. Back Orders

14.1 If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order immediately and receive a full refund if you would rather not wait for the order to be fulfilled.
